The Mirror 02:11
The grief, joy, gain, and struggling reconciling and the othering, interpretations of my heart and mind. Happy memories are haunting, greatest fears and doubts are daunting, each a reflection in the mirror I can find. Plant the spark, harvest a fire, polish the mirror, burning desir. Developing a new perspective, practice loving what's been rejected, judgements cloud the mirror and make me numb. Is there strength and the endurance, to grasp the willingness and patience, to see my true reflection and what i can become? It's hard to love the image I see, but can I face it with clarity Illusions can overwhelm me, I have to face it to set them free. Strength and endurance. My true reflection beyond the judgements, my true reflection Plant the spark, hate or admire, polish the mirror, detest or desire Plant the spark, hate or admire, polish the mirror, detest or desire.

Illuminating 02:10
The light in you saw the light in me and I'm grateful. Never let it diminish, refused to let me extinguish. Seemed like the faintest of beams, thought I couldn't bare this suffering, but you gave me courage to hold on. You sat still, you let go and you opened up your heart to me and now my darkest shadow is illuminating. I'll pass the torch and I'll nurture the flame, embrace and love this being. Learned from the love you showed me, the fire spread and forever growing. What was the faintest of beams now embraces the suffering and I can give the courage to hold on. You sat still, you let go and you opened up your heart to me and now my darkest shadow is illuminating. The light in you saw the light in me, now I can bear this suffering. Passed on the love you showed me and embrace this being. You sat still, you let go and you opened up your heart to me and now my darkest shadow is illuminating. You sat still, you let go and you opened up your heart to me and now my darkest shadow is illuminating.

Aspirations 02:18
Lambs born into a den of wolves standing tall among the cruel, never backing down until our last breath. Mutiny on a ship of fools and casting out their golden rules, gazing at the beauty beyond the horizon. And I see it now, it's all so clear, we can't stop, won't stop screaming, searching, trying while we're breathing. A lifetime is unfolding and the ropes that once bound are unraveling, every thread's a lesson and an aspiration. We're never promised security, never granted certainty, but we can find eternity in every breath, in every breath. And I see it now (this is the time). It's all so clear (our chance to shine. We can't stop, won't stop screaming, searching, trying while we're breathing Each moment is eternal when we love, each second can be filled with gratitude. I won't forget each moment is eternity when we love. I won't regret a single moment cause I tried.

Our unpolished intention had cracks and jagged edges. It was a precious jewel we relied on through the ages. Changing seasons and the friction of our expectations exposed all the doubt and brought us to this situation. It wore us down, the integrity is crumbling, we're broken down, the foundation's cracked but I still believe, I still believe in the promise you gave to me and that a brighter future still lies ahead. Our fortress turned into a impenetrable prison, we broke our backs with devotion and persevered through the wretched. We chose to blame each other for this poor condition, it's time to look deep inside and find reconciliation. It wore us down, the integrity is crumbling, we're broken down, the foundation's cracked but I still believe, I still believe in the promise you gave to me and that a brighter future still lies ahead, I still care. The miles and miles we'll walk in company, hand in hand, there's an open chapter to be read. The only way out is through, the only way out is through. Hold my hand and I'll walk with you, hold my hand and I'll walk with you. I'll walk with you, and I still believe, I still believe. I still believe, I still believe. I still believe, I still believe. I still believe, I still believe, in the promise you gave to me and that a brighter future still lies ahead, I still care. The miles and miles we'll walk in company, hand in hand, there's an open chapter to be read.

Seems like everyday it gets hard for me to say what I'm feeling, what I'm thinking, does it really mean that much? Why should I try? Will I even make a dent? Why should I care, no one notices a failure. So I stop, turn around, take a look, what's going on? This time I'll try. My face will wear a smile. I'll do what I can To make it worth the while. Seems like everyday it gets hard for me to say what I'm feeling, what I'm thinking, does it really mean that much? Take a stand.

A Revealing 02:46
Witnessing the death of a dream, close the casket on the end of a fantasy, white washed obituary with redacted lines. Crowds gather at the edge of the grave, orphans scatter to search for what can be saved and the pallbearers stand in disbelief. It's time for a revealing, can't leave anyone behind. We can be the midwife of a rebirth and deliver a brand new system, overstand the source of our worth, nurturing this nascent vision. A foundation built on compassion. dismantle their decrepit bastion and their divisive mission with love and reconciliation. It's time for a revealing, can't leave anyone behind. The hatred's so concealing, can't leave anyone behind. The time has come to move ahead, the grave is marked, that dream is dead. So love reveals a way that heals, it starts today- the revealing.

about

After nearly two decades, kings of posi-hardcore Stretch Arm Strong are back with a pipebomb of an EP.

With six songs clocking in at under fifteen minutes, the EP’s brevity is a testament to the lightning in a bottle Stretch Arm Strong captured by taking the stage once more. No longer being kids and now being full-fledged adults with families and worlds outside of music, the bond between Stretch Arm Strong and their love for playing is a testament to what this music means both for them and the countless listeners that have joined them throughout this time. It’s a release that’s worthy of the band’s exceptional discography, and a record that can only exist with a once-in-a-lifetime friendship and focus that the band has.
